Only a few kilometres away you may visit the 1000 year old city of Bautzen. In one hour by car you can reach the traditional cities Dresden, Zittau, Görlitz, Kamenz, the castle Stolpen or the Saxonian Swiss. The Spree forest, Berlin, Leipzig, Prague and the Riesengebirge (Giant Mountains) are other interesting places, worth a visit. The area provides a fully developed bicycle- and hiking track network. You may also go horseback riding, on a boat trip, play tennis and miniature golf or you can use the surrounding skiing centres. Your well-being is secured by the thermal spring that is only 4km away. During the summer months there are plenty of outdoor swimming pools nearby.
